This Cookie and Similar Technologies Notice explains how cookies and related technologies may be used on the Qubicsquare website.

Cookies are small pieces of information that a website can store on a user's device and receive again during later requests.

The Qubicsquare website currently uses a session cookie associated with authorized administrator access.

The qs_admin_session cookie is used when an authorized administrator signs in to protected administrative functionality.

It allows the website to recognize the authenticated administrator during the session and supports access control and security.

The cookie is not used to subscribe visitors to newsletters, create marketing profiles or record newsletter preferences.

Ordinary public browsing and newsletter registration do not require the qs_admin_session cookie.

Some cookies or similar technologies may be necessary to provide functionality specifically requested by a user, maintain authentication, protect security or operate essential website features.

Where a technology qualifies for an applicable exemption from prior consent, we may use it without requesting optional cookie consent.

The qs_admin_session cookie is used for administrator authentication and session management.

Qubicsquare and SITRAI subscriptions are separate. A preference associated with one subscription does not automatically change another unless you request that change.

The qs_admin_session cookie is configured as HttpOnly and uses SameSite=Lax.

In production, it is also configured with the Secure attribute so that browsers transmit it only over secure connections where supported and applicable.

These controls reduce particular risks but do not guarantee complete security.

Users should also protect their devices, browsers and authentication credentials.

We may update this notice when our website, technologies, providers or legal requirements change.

The version number and effective date shown at the top identify the current version.

Where we introduce technologies that require additional information or consent, we will update our disclosures and consent controls as required before or when those technologies are used.

A change to this notice does not by itself constitute consent to optional technologies.
